Who we are

Local app data
The prepared apps have no erehwon account service, cloud-processing backend, advertising SDK or in-app analytics. File contents, paths, hashes, task records, business records and app history are processed locally as described below. macOS permissions control access to selected files, Photos, Calendar, camera, Input Monitoring and notifications where applicable. You can revoke permissions in System Settings.
Website analytics and app referrals
Every website page includes Statcounter analytics. Page loads can send connection and device information, visited URLs, referral information and usage information to Statcounter. Statcounter may use cookies and process information outside Australia. erehwon app website links include an app-name referral tag so we can understand which app a visit came from. The tag does not include your files, typed text or business records. Read Statcounter’s legal and privacy information for its practices and visitor choices.
Support enquiries
If you email us, we receive your address, message and attachments. We use these to answer your enquiry and troubleshoot issues. Do not send passwords or unnecessary private files. Support email and hosting providers process the information needed to deliver their services. We retain support correspondence while needed to resolve the enquiry and meet applicable obligations; contact us to request access, correction or deletion.
Your choices and retention
App records remain on your Mac until you remove them through the app or remove its local data. Exports and backups remain wherever you save them. Uninstalling an app may leave local records, backups or Keychain entries; contact support for app-specific removal guidance. We do not sell your app files or use them for advertising. Requests about personal information or privacy complaints can be sent to hello@erehwon.com.au.
Third-party destinations
Opening an external website, requesting a download, using connected calendars or making Photos changes can involve the selected provider. Your provider’s privacy policy applies to its service. App Store purchases are processed by Apple; these apps do not receive your payment-card details.
Children and policy updates
The apps are general-purpose tools and are not offered as children’s services. We may update this policy when app behaviour or services change. The effective date identifies the current version.

Archive contents and file paths stay local. Passwords are not saved. No app analytics or account.
Data Recovery
Image contents, file candidates and recovery history stay local. No app analytics or account.
Downloads Cleaner
Filenames, hashes, settings and cleanup records stay on your Mac. No app analytics or account.
Duplicate File Finder
File paths, hashes, scan sessions and cleanup records stay local. No app analytics or account.
HDD Catalogue
Recorded filenames, paths, hashes, drive identities and labels stay local. Camera input is used for QR scanning. Exported catalogues can contain private metadata.
Keyboard Sounds
Temporary hardware key categories trigger audio. Typed characters and key-event history are not recorded. No microphone access or app analytics.
Mac Temperature Monitor
System observations and history stay local. No app analytics or account.
PDF Toolkit
Documents, passwords and OCR processing stay local. The bundled security engine receives passwords through stdin. No app analytics or account.
Photo Library Cleaner
Photo resources and local review history stay on your Mac. PhotoKit changes can sync through the user’s iCloud Photos account. No developer photo upload or app analytics.
Website Downloader
Requests go to websites selected by the user, which receive normal connection information. Captured pages stay in the chosen local archive. No erehwon backend or app analytics.
Daily Tasks
Tasks and attachments stay local. Optional Calendar and Notifications features use macOS services; connected calendars may sync through the user’s provider. No erehwon analytics.
Image Toolkit
Image data and metadata processing stay on your Mac. No image uploads, app analytics or account.
Ultimate Invoicing
Business records are stored locally with encryption and Keychain-backed key protection. Imported briefs are processed locally. No erehwon billing backend or app analytics.
My Mac Cleaner
Scan findings, hashes and recovery records stay local. No erehwon backend or app analytics.
Sleep Manager
Power observations, app and device signals, profiles, rules and session history stay on your Mac. No account, app analytics or cloud service. Optional drive activity reads up to 4 KB of a user-selected file without modifying it. Notifications and launch at login are optional.
System Audio Recorder
Audio recordings, notes, tags and recovery files stay on your Mac. No app analytics, account or cloud service. Microphone and system-audio capture require macOS permission. Sharing and export happen when you choose them.
Batch File Renamer
Selected filenames, paths, readable metadata, presets and rename journals stay on your Mac. Folder access is granted through macOS file panels. No account, app analytics or network connection is required. Exports happen only when you choose them.
Clipboard Manager
Clipboard contents, image data, source app metadata where available, snippets and OCR results are processed locally. Capture is opt-in and can be paused. Ordinary history is not encrypted by this app; optional Protected Clips use authenticated encryption and a device-bound Keychain key. No app analytics, remote OCR or cloud sync. Saved/exported data and the system clipboard remain under your control.
Mac Storage Intelligence
Authorised file paths, sizes, timestamps, categories and scan history are indexed locally. Reports are exported only when you choose a destination. The app has no network entitlement or app telemetry. Scanning does not change source files; cleanup requires separate review.
Ultimate Video Compressor
Videos, samples, presets and job history remain on your Mac. Encoding uses Apple media frameworks without uploads or app analytics. Input and output folders are authorised through macOS file panels. Optional watch-folder intake checks a selected folder while the app is running; it does not automatically encode videos.
